ITINERARY

8.00am Pick up from Alice Springs accommodation in a high quality 22 seater coaster bus.
8.30am Arrive ABORIGINAL ART & CULTURE CENTRE-
Alice Springs 86 Todd Street for welcome.
Transfer by bus (approx. 15 minutes, 20 kms) north of Alice Springs to our unique nature walk
Introduction to Aboriginal Culture /Dreamtime
Aboriginal history / traditional contemporary
9.00am A brief bushwalk to illustrate the relationship between Aboriginal people, the dreamtime, land and art. Learn about desert living, survival and bushtucker. The walk is approx. 1.5 km and very
comfortable and interesting. On most days we see the many kangaroos, lizards and birdlife who live in this natural setting.
10.15am Arrive at our ALICE SPRINGS ABORIGINAL CULTURAL PRECINCT where you can share "billy tea",cooked bush bread ( damper)
and other complimentary refreshments. RED CENTRE DREAMING DANCE GROUP Then you will EXPERIENCE a world class
Aboriginal dance/cultural presentation from dancers who have traveled from all around Australia to share their culture. You may have seen our dancers during the Sydney Olympic broadcast or on many travel television programs throughout the world.
You will be invited up on to the natural stage to to learn the bird dance.
At the end of the performance you are welcome to have your photo taken with the dancers

2.00pm In an action packed one hour, we guarantee that we can teach you how to get a sound out of the world's most fascinating musical instrument. We will also show you how they are made, played and what to look for when purchasing,
